12 Fat Turkeys
Kylan's class had a Thanksgiving celebration last week and it was fun to go and get a glimpse of what they do each day. Ms. Sue and Ms. Beth are wonderful with the kiddos and we are very thankful for them!

#7
Today was Kylan's last football game. He had a great time as usual! He still doesn't want to carry the ball b/c he doesn't want his flags pulled, but other than that he loves it! He is was very excited when he found out he got a medal. He was pretty proud of himself.

Chris was such a great coach!
So sister wasn't wearing blue, but she cheered for brother anyway and is rooting for OU in her sleep tonight!

Friends and Cousins
Friday was a super fun day for me! I got to have lunch with one of my childhood best friends and meet her little boy. She doesn't live here anymore, so it had been a little over a year since I had seen her. We had a fun lunch and I must say Kynlee and Micah sure liked each other!
Again...I need to work on my photography skills and notice when I have a major glare on my subjects! :)
I also got to watch my niece, Mariah, since she was out of school. Mariah was my "adopted child" before I had kids of my own. There was nothing I loved more than getting to keep her overnight and play! I still love doing that, I just don't get to do it as often as I used to. My sister and I were just talking about how Mariah took her first steps at Aunt T's house. Awww...she has grown up way too fast!
We dropped Kylan off at school and when we got in the car we chanted "Girl Time, girl time!!" It was cute because Kynlee started clapping her hands. She may only be one, but she loves her girl time too! :)
We painted our toe nails, picked out Christmas presents, had lunch, and just did "girl" things. One thing I can say is I LOVED fixing her hair. This might sound dumb, but having a girl with little/no hair and seriously there is only so much excitement to fixing Kylan's faux hawk or spiking his short locks that is fun. It was a highlight, what can I say?!
Not only is she a great niece, but she is an awesome cousin. Kylan wants to do and be everything Ri Ri does and is! I can't say I blame him!
I also got to pick my precious nephew, Trent, up from school early Thursday and Friday and hang out with him. Seriously, my cup runneth over! I love these kids so much!

I can hear!!!!
Kynlee has been battling a chronic double ear infection since September. It has made for some long nights, lots of antibiotics, 3 rounds of Rocephin shots which I hear are extremely painful, and even a hospital visit. We finally took her to an ENT last week and sure enough the darn thing still hadn't gone away and the sad part is it has caused about 30% hearing loss for our poor girl! He said her hearing would sound like if we put our fingers in our ears and listened to people talk. So we scheduled her to get tubes ASAP and thankfully that meant Thursday!
She did wonderful and we are praying that it will mean no more ear infections and more importantly restored hearing.
Gotta love her freshly washed, fine hair. It sticks up everywhere!
Had my goofy juice and am relaxed and feeling good!
Off she goes!
And back at home, you'd never know she had a minor surgery that morning!

She was a trooper and we hope to get a good report when we go back here in a few weeks!

A little of this, A little of that
With this beautiful weather we have been spending the majority of our time outside. The kids have loved every minute of it. They would both rather be outside playing than anywhere else. Here are some completely random pictures from the last week.
Sister is finally big enough to hold on and brother loves taking her on rides in his John Deere.
A little walk to the park and some tire swing fun!
Think she likes it?!

We took a trip to the zoo with our friends this week and it couldn't have been a more perfect day! Beautiful weather, no one was there, and lots of animals to see!
You can finally see sister's first (and only) tooth in this picture!
Maggie and Kynlee
(pre bee sting! Poor Mags!)
Kylan and Kate checking out the chimps!
Sister finally in a big girl car seat and facing forward. She didn't know what to think about her new view!
